Batohiro supported children from children’s homes. Sweatshirts worth a quarter of a million Czech korunas were donated to the Dejme dětem šanci Foundation.

Prague, July 23, 2026 — The Batohiro brand donated a collection of black hoodies worth a total of CZK 240,000 to children growing up in children's homes. The donation was received yesterday by the Give Children a Chance Foundation, which has long supported children and young people from alternative care on their journey toward independent living.

For Batohiro, this is a natural expression of the values on which the brand is built. The idea behind “Be The Hiro” is about confidence, courage, and being the hero of your own story - about feeling that you can stand up for yourself and face whatever comes your way. This is precisely the feeling the brand wants to pass on to children who do not have an easy start in life and must become their own heroes every day.

About the Give Children a Chance Foundation

The Give Children a Chance Foundation supports children and young people growing up in children's homes and alternative family care. It helps them prepare for independent life, supports their education and development, and guides them during the period when they leave children's homes and stand on the threshold of adulthood. Its work is based on concrete, targeted assistance - and that is precisely why Batohiro decided to support it.

Part of a long-term commitment

Donating hoodies is not a one-off initiative for Batohiro, but part of the brand's broader approach to social responsibility. Batohiro believes that a brand's success is measured not only by sales, but also by what it can give back. The brand therefore plans to continue working with the nonprofit sector in the coming months.

“We want the Batohiro brand to stand for more than just a product. When we can bring joy to children who need it most, that is exactly why we do this work,” the Batohiro team says.

Customers and supporters of the brand who would like to support the work of the Give Children a Chance Foundation can find more information on its official website. Every purchase from Batohiro also indirectly supports other similar projects that the brand is preparing for the future.
