Minato Lite 2.0 is the smaller sibling of our travel backpack, Minato Premium 6.0. The same CORDURA® 1000D, the same Fidlock® magnetic buckles, the same lifetime warranty - but a smaller capacity, half the weight, and a shape that fits under an airplane seat. “Lite” does not mean cheaper construction, but a lighter backpack for every day.
Compact with room to expand
Minato Lite’s greatest advantage is its expansion system, which lets you adapt the backpack to whatever you are carrying. You do not need one backpack for work and another for trips.
- 15 liters - a laptop, wallet, keys, and a snack for a typical day.
- 17 liters - add a sweatshirt or training gear.
- 20 liters - a day trip, a larger shop, or a light weekend flight.

A backpack that fits under an airplane seat
In its smallest configuration, Minato Lite measures 24 × 37 × 15 cm. This means it meets the free under-seat baggage limit on Ryanair and Wizz Air (40 × 30 × 20 cm) - with no Priority surcharge. Durable in every kind of weather
We make the backpack from CORDURA® 1000D, a technical fabric with a water-resistant finish and an inner PU layer that keeps your belongings dry even in the rain. CORDURA® is known for its high resistance to abrasion and tearing, so the backpack will last for years of daily use without worn-through corners. Functional details
You can fasten the Fidlock® magnetic buckles with one hand, even while walking. Inside, there is a padded compartment for a laptop up to 16" and an organizer for small items, while the YKK® zippers are water-resistant. The expandable side pocket holds a bottle of up to 950 ml - such as the Kinto Water Bottle, which stays secure even when you are running for the tram. The straps on the front are for attaching a jacket or mat.
And because Lite weighs only around 500 g, you will barely feel it on your back.

Made in Prague
We hand-sew every Minato Lite backpack in Prague using materials from the EU. It comes with a lifetime warranty, and if something happens after years of use, we repair it in our workshop. You can try it out at our store in Žižkov, alongside Minato Premium and the Roku Everyday roll-top backpack.
